ABOUT
I
was introduced to scrapbooking in the early 90’s while attending a MOM’s
(Morning Out for Mom) program at our Church when my daughter was 3 and
my son was a newborn. I was immediately drawn in but the timing was
off, with two small children to care for. It wasn’t until 1997 when
the chance to “get scrap’in” came into my life again. This time I
was ready to begin.
I started buying supplies
jointly with my mom, but soon realized that when I needed a certain tool
she would have it, and vice-versa. Even though we live fairly close
to each other, it became a chore to run back and forth to get the items
I would need. As time went on, I began to meet many other girls who
were “bitten by the scrap bug”. We get together in our homes to scrapbook
and even have a yearly week-end get away to a family cottage where we scrapbook,
watch girl movies, visit and eat way too much food! And so, my supplies
grew, as did my corner in the basement (pictured above with my daughter,
Caitlin).
And then one day, I met
Janice Schuster, who put a bug in my ear. “Let’s start up a supply
company so we can offer quality products that aren’t readily available
in our area.” My husband instantly said, “Yah, go for it!” That was
all I needed to hear. Paper Canvas Studio was born.
I would like to thank my family, who have allowed me many hours away from home and
on the computer while getting things under way. Your support and
love is greatly appreciated.
I hope you enjoy visiting our web site and get a chance to attend one of our crops.

Special thanks Bev Masters for all her help with designing this web site. I couldn't have
done it without you
